A short time ago one of the Tombola CMs were in the room discussing the format of chat games and how (if at all) they could be improved.
Many differing options were put forward but as yet, the quiz/chat games format appears to have remained unchanged.
Personally, I think the current format works quite well to make things fair for all people.
Slow typers like the winner to be 5th or 6th, many others prefer the GO scenario and the fast typers prefer the first correct answer.
My personal thoughts are that this format should not change as it gives a wide enough spectrum to allow everyone to have a decent chance at winning.
I certainly prefer the quizzes to the games. Those games which are tied to the numbers being drawn are the worst in my opinion.... we already rely on those numbers coming out to win the bingo without having to wait for them for a chat game too.
Another discussion was the limit on the 2 wins per day, again, I think that it is a good thing that this stays in place otherwise the rooms would be full of "quiz hunters".
Having played quizzes on other bingo sites, I still feel that Tombola's format is the best, though I do think that the prize money could be raised. £1 doesnt go very far in the bingo rooms and if this was raised to a £5 prize then it would prove far more popular and keep people coming back more and more often.
